England

With some delay here are now some pics from the trip to South-West England, Devon and Cornwall. That's where we spent few nights, at Mortehoe, Devon:

We've seen two different coasts: The Celtic Sea / Bristol Channel in the North and the English Channel to the South. Those are pics from around the campsite at Mortehoe:

There is this cute little old village Clovelly that you should see:

And of course take a walk on the wonderful coast paths:

Reminds me on Window OS or Teletubbies:

Other places that we visited:

And some B/W-Impressions:

And is that typical english weather that we had at Land's End?:

Big thanks to Kay who arranged the trip and showed us those nice places!

Norway

Long time ago since my last post here. Actually I was too busy with work and there was not much time left for something else exciting. But now I found the time to spend few days in Norway, together with a good friend of mine. So here is a collection of some pics. If anyone is interested in more details about the tour or wants to have some recommendations or just want to talk about beautiful Norway or other stuff, well you know how to contact me ;)

What was the most exciting things in Norway for me? Definitely the hiking tour to Kjerag and the bright nights.

Here is just a selection of pics, you can view all the pics here: View Slideshow (password: norway)

Lago di Garda

Here are some pics from the trip to Italy. Weather: constantly above 20C, rain only during 2 nights, the rest was sun shining and blue sky :)

We got up at 4am in the night and started driving at 5am.

Driving for hours... Pass through Austria. And welcome to bella Italia :)

Wonderful, the lake is in sight!

Time for a short snack and off it goes for a first short trip.

Relax at the lake during sunset.

And have some fun with the camera in the evening. You see here Patrick, Thomas and me. Don't ask how much time we spend with that...

The coffee on the next morning: a must to get awake after that hard night before :D The Italian vine is just too delicious ;)

Our veranda and in behind one of our targets for today's tour: The mountain of La Rocca.

Up it goes... 15% ;)

..pass by lots of vineyards and follow wonderful alleys

The very last hard part before the top. Hard to go up, but fun to drive down ;)

But the view from top is just worth everything. The town down there is Garda.

And the view to the south shows town Bardolino and La Rocca, the camping area where we spend the nights.

Fun in the evening... Every evening rolling the dice, first I could not imagine how much fun it is :D

On the next day we had a tour to Prada at approx 1000m. That's the base of Monte Baldo that we visited the day after. But first we had to climb the mountain. But since we took lots of asphalt roads it was not that difficult:

Target reached :)

Back home we took the short track: heavy downhill. Of course with unplanned stops.

Driving home...

Into the sunset.

And have some delicious self-made dinner! Fantastico!

The next day we went directly on top of Monte Baldo. Some impressions from the way to there:

And up onto the mountain:

Last two pics: First one looks a bit strange, but it really looked like this.
Second one is Bardolino at night.
